ZTE has recently rolled out the mini version of the ZTE Axon 7, known indicatively as the ZTE Axon 7 Mini. The ZTE Axon 7 has been a particular hit in the US markets as the smartphone contained the top-of-line specifications at a budget price. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini also has the same specs but a slightly smaller display on the phone. Now, one thing that the ZTE Axon 7 has already received and the ZTE Axon 7 Mini was missing was the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and we have now known that the Axon 7 Mini is finally getting the much-needed update to the latest version of Android.

Talking about the update, on installing the new update on the Axon 7 Mini, users will be able to access the bunch of new features that Android 7.1.1 Nougat brings along. Apart from these features, you can utilise the updated emojis to communicate more in a funnier way. In addition, you also get support to use multiple languages at once while communicating. On top of that, there’s multi-window split-screen mode that comes along with the Android Nougat update to help you multitask better. There are a bunch of other improvements in the form of revamped notifications shade, improved Settings menu, better Doze mode, and the like. ZTE is also adding support for T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling which allows you to talks as well as text without using cellular data which should be great news for you if you use the T-Mobile network and are planning to buy the ZTE Axon 7 Mini.
Also, as is the case with every new update, the battery should be kept charged and the phone should be connected to a WiFi network before proceeding to download and install the update as the update should be downloaded properly and the phone should remain in working condition during the installation process.
