This year Vivo launched Vivo V9 smartphone in March with first ever notch display in India. Now the Chinese manufacturer is set for the launch of 2nd generation Vivo V9 Pro handset in India on September 26. The phone looks pretty much same as before but this time the internal specifications are changed.
Vivo V9 Pro Expected Specifications
The Vivo V9 Pro will come with the FullView 2.0 display which will have a 6.3-inch 19:9 aspect ratio notched display. The display will be around 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU out of the box. The device will come with the 6GB of RAM. However, the internal storage and battery capacity details aren’t available yet.
Vivo always mentions front or rear camera on their teaser poster but this time the company doesn’t include any camera specifications. So, we can expect the same camera specification of a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera sensor as Vivo V9. On the front, the Vivo V9 sports a single 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. So, the upcoming Vivo V9 Pro could also feature the same. In terms of the connectivity options, the Vivo V9 Pro will have dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS etc.
On the other side, the device will come with the sensors like Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Magnetometer, Gyroscope, E-compass, and rear mounted Fingerprint sensor. It will also feature the improved Face Unlock support and fast charging. The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo over FunTouch OS 4.5 out of the box.
Vivo V9 Pro Expected Price in India
The Vivo V9 Pro is expected to be priced at around Rs.25,000 in India for the 6GB variant. Though the price of the Oppo and Vivo devices are quite higher than other brands, the offline market for Vivo and Oppo in India are very strong due to the marketing and advertising strategy. Whereas, the sub-brands or other online brands are providing the same specifications within half a price. The device will be launched on September 26 and sold via Amazon exclusive with Vivo online store for online. Whereas, the device will also be available in offline markets and stores as well all over in India.
