Nokia has finally launched the much-awaited flagship smartphone from the company, the Nokia 8. The Nokia 8 also becomes the first flagship smartphone to be launched by the company after making its comeback earlier this year at the MWC in Barcelona. The Nokia 8 also becomes the latest flagship smartphone to be launched this year with a Dual Rear camera setup that has been found on almost all the flagship devices this year. Talking about the Nokia 8, the smartphone comes with a Carl Zeiss camera which also happens to be a Dual Camera setup. The camera on the phone has a resolution of 13MP+13MP and the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP camera at the front of the phone which can be used for capturing better selfies.
Talking about the specifications of the phone, the Nokia 8 contains all the features that are expected from a smartphone launched in 2017. The Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch QHD display, Nokia 8 is powered by Snapdragon 835. In terms of storage, the phone packs in 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with microSD support. A 3,090 mAh battery keeps the lights on. Apart from that, the Nokia 8 has a unique feature known as ‘bothies’ which basically means that both the front as well as the rear camera of the phone can be turned on simultaneously as a split-screen view.
Other than that, the Nokia 8 also contains a 360-degree camera to capture content in virtual reality. Apart from that, the Nokia 8 also houses three microphones which can record audio in 360-degree surround sound so that whenever the phone is plugged to the headphone, the users get the feeling that they are virtually present at the location. The smartphone runs the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the company has promised to keep the phone up to date with latest Android updates as well as the security patch. The smartphone has been launched currently in Europe for a price of 599 Euros and the smartphone is set to be launched in global markets on September 6th.
