Samsung has now started to release the latest security patch builds for all their latest smartphones which have been released this year as well as last year. The latest security patch is the August one released at the start of this month by Google. However, some of the Samsung devices are yet to receive the official update to Android 7.0 Nougat from Samsung. Now, one such device is receiving the update to Android 7.0 Nougat and this update has been headed to the Galaxy A5 2017 smartphone. The smartphone was released earlier this year by Samsung with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.

The new update will bring with it a refreshed UI, new performance modes, improved notifications and Quick Settings menu, improved multi-window mode, and a new Samsung Pass feature.
