LG has recently released the latest smartphone in the LG G series which is the flagship smartphone series from the company. The company released the LG G6 as the successor to the LG G5 smartphone. The LG V20 is only the second smartphone to come from LG after the LG V10 was released in 2015. The Verizon carrier is now sending out an update to all the V20 smartphones on their network. The LG V20 gets the update as an OTA from the Verizon carrier and the update’s OTA should reach your device in the coming days. As far as the update is concerned, the July security patch will be installed on the LG V20 devices after the update. The update arrives as build number VS99515A and the device should also have some system improvements and regular bug fixes after the update has been installed on your phone.
Now, one thing to keep in mind about the OTA update is that even though the carrier has released the OTA update to all the devices on its network, you may receive the update straight away or there could be a delay in receiving the update OTA to your device. In any case, make sure to charge your device to a sufficient level of charge and also make sure to connect your device to a stable WiFi connection to ensure faster download of the update as soon as the update is available for your device as quickly as possible
