USB drivers let your PC detect and communicate with Android devices. Download the correct driver package, install it, enable USB debugging, and connect your device to start data transfer or flashing.
Note: USB drivers are often OEM-specific. You should download the driver corresponding to your device brand (e.g., Google, Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony, Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.) to ensure compatibility.
For Google devices, download the Google USB driver from the official Android developer site or SDK Manager. For Samsung devices, you can download the Samsung Android USB Driver, which also supports other Android devices to some extent. For other manufacturers, download drivers from their official websites or trusted sources as listed below.

- Find your phone in the list. It might be under “Portable Devices,” “Other Devices,” or “Android Phone.”
- Right-click on your phone and choose “Update Driver.”
- Click “Browse my computer for drivers.”
- Navigate to your downloaded driver folder (usually in
android_sdk\extras\google\usb_driver\
for Google drivers). - Click “Next” and let Windows install the driver.
- If that doesn’t work, try “Have Disk” and point to the same driver folder.
Your phone should now be recognized by your PC for file transfers or any kind of flashing work.
