The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a new smartphone in China called Vivo Z5x. The smartphone will go on sale on June 1, 2019, in China. The 4GB+64GB variant costs RMB 1,398 (INR 14,400 approx), 6GB+64GB model is priced at RMB 1,498 (INR 15,400 approx). While the Vivo Z5x 6GB+128GB model at RMB 1,698 (INR 17,400 approx), and 8GB+128GB variant at RMB 1,998 (INR 20,500 approx).
The phone will available in Aurora, Extreme Night Black, and Phantom Black color options. However, there is no confirmation about the launch in India yet. We need to wait for a few weeks or more.
Vivo Z5x Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch touch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It powers with the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB/128GB of onboard storage options. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card. The Vivo Z5x runs on Android 9 Pie based on Funtouch OS 9 out-of-the-box.
In terms of the camera department, the Vivo Z5x packs a 16MP primary rear camera (f/1.78), a secondary 8MP camera (f/2.2), and a third 2MP camera (f/2.4) with an LED flash. Meanwhile, the front features a 16MP selfie punch-hole camera on the display with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The front camera also features AI Face Unlock, Portrait mode, Beautification mode, etc.
The dual Nano-SIM featured Vivo Z5x packs a massive 5,000 mAh Battery and it measures 162.39 x 77.33 x 8.85mm with 204 grams. The device also includes Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, GPS, Bluetooth, etc as connectivity options. While the device includes accelerometer, ambient light, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
